Biography
Giorgi "Pablo" Kalandarishvili is a Georgian muralist who signs his walls as Pablo. His often photorealistic murals pay tribute to people and traditions of his country.
For the NIKO Movement festival he painted a monumental portrait of Anne Frank in Tbilisi, made in 2021 for Israel House, a mural inspired by the five women who signed Georgia's Act of Independence on 26 May 1918, and several basketball courts. In Kutaisi he dedicated a wall to basketball player Zurab Sakandelidze, a 1972 Olympic champion, whose ball travels from a black-and-white past into a colourful future.
In 2023 he painted "Tita" in the Vazisubani neighbourhood for Tbilisi Mural Fest, assisted by Gvantsa Chakvetdze.
