Biography

Born in 1996 in La Croix-Valmer, in the Var, Gaëtan Olias is an artist and designer. After studying graphic design he went freelance, building a body of work around pattern, with a central character repeated across colourful, tightly structured graphic compositions.

In 2022 he co-founded the Ozut collective, where he works on global design, scenography and development projects. That hands-on craft experience marked a shift: he set illustration aside to experiment with resin, wood and ceramics. On walls, he carries his "Nazes" from one city to the next, wandering silhouettes that form a community of familiar, benevolent figures and have become his signature.

He has painted in Montargis for HorsLesMurs, curated by the LaBel Valette Festival, and describes himself as the founder of BACA Festival. For the Val d'Arly Street Art Festival he painted "Un Instant Suspendu", a water reservoir facing Mont Blanc above Saint-Nicolas-la-Chapelle.
