Biography
Mac Lloyd, whose name is Daniel Mac Lloyd, is a self-taught street artist born in 1995 in Luxembourg. He grew up with a brush in hand, fascinated early on by colour, texture and shape.
First influenced by graffiti and graphic design, he avoided art classes to find his own path. He began exhibiting in 2009 and turned to art full time in 2015. His style merges graffiti, lettering and abstraction with a photorealistic touch, often featuring birds or sea creatures in watercolour-like effects.
Winner of the Street Art Award Benelux in 2018, he co-founded the Kamellebuttek urban art gallery. His murals, canvases and sculptures can be found in more than 40 cities. In 2025 he painted "Golden Hour" in Rillieux-la-Pape, a lion inspired by a trip to Tanzania.
