Biography
Choper is a French artist from Réunion Island who has lived in Lyon for several years. Her practice combines illustration and graffiti in a brightly coloured world marked by a strong bond with nature and aquatic life.
Walls are her favourite medium. She uses a vivid palette to express her fascination with sea creatures and nature, without limiting herself to those themes. Her native island, rich in landscapes and cultures, shaped her sensibility, and moving to Lyon opened up new sources of inspiration.
Through her murals she invites viewers to reflect on the relationship between people and nature and on the need to protect its fragility. She took part in the Street Art Rillieux collective wall in 2024 before painting a wall of frogs there in 2025.
