Biography
Myet, whose real name is Hugo Millet, is a graffiti artist from Lyon. He started painting at 18 during trips into abandoned factories, then gradually built his own style through pictorial experiments fed by street art and other artistic movements.
Trained as a graphic designer, he later devoted himself entirely to painting. He mainly paints aerosol portraits, often of people close to him or people he meets, because to him they carry the most emotion. He sets into them patterns designed on computer and applied with stencils, expressing the balance between our thoughts, our experiences and our personality.
His bright colours and compositions also draw on landscapes discovered while travelling. He paints murals for private clients, companies and local authorities, in Lyon and across France.
