Biography
Ana Langeheldt is a multidisciplinary artist born in Seville in 1978, where she lives and works. A Fine Arts graduate of the University of Seville in printmaking and graphic design, she first became known as Lahe178, a shortened form of her German-origin surname.
Active in urban art since 2001, she is one of the pioneers of mural painting in Spain. Colour sits at the heart of her work and gives her scenes and portraits strong expressiveness. She won first prizes in graffiti (2007) and graphic design (2009) at the City of Seville's Creación Joven competition.
Alongside her murals, the artist exhibits in galleries and takes on public commissions such as the "Dos océanos" mural in Seville. In 2024 she painted "Rumbos" on the Magakian gymnasium in Valence for the Walls & Love festival.
