Biography
Studio Giftig is an acclaimed Dutch urban art duo consisting of artists Niels van Swaemen and Kaspar van Leek, based in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
Formed in 2007, the duo is globally recognized for their massive, photorealistic surrealist murals. Their unique creative process involves building their own studio sets and photographing custom models before translating the images into monumental spray-painted street art.
They have painted walls across the world—including the US, UK, and Europe—and won the Best Mural Worldwide award for their work on the Muziekgebouw Eindhoven. Celebrating nearly two decades of collaboration, they recently released their anniversary book, "Wall Stories," accompanied by a dedicated exhibition in late 2026.
