GEHOD

GEHOD, Nathanaël Schaller, is a multidisciplinary artist, muralist, and creator. Active in graffiti since 2009, his journey began with lettering work using aerosol paint. Over the years, his practice has expanded to include painting, drawing, photography, graphic design, and object creation.

In his murals, he notably developed the concept of "ScénoGraffiti," an approach that combines painting with site-specific spatial integration. His works are conceived in relation to the location where they appear and are photographed as staged scenes featuring GEHOD experiencing various adventures. He also works with "Scryptal," a portrait technique based on the use of signs and graphical glyphs. Faces gradually emerge through a series of shapes, as if emerging from mysterious intuitive coding.

His work, situated at the intersection of urban art and craft disciplines, is characterized by meticulous attention to detail, materials, symbols, and the relationship between the artwork and its environment. From monumental frescoes to more intimate creations, the artist develops both personal and commissioned projects in Switzerland and abroad.
