Mr Sor2

Behind the name Mr Sor2, or Sortwo, is Jokin Oregi from Bergara, a small town in Gipuzkoa in the Spanish Basque Country. He began writing graffiti as a teenager around 2000, is self-taught as a painter and later studied audiovisual production. His surreal, highly detailed murals combine spray paint with acrylics and brushwork, both indoors and out, and he also works on digital illustration, band artwork, skate videos and custom objects such as surfboards. He was the first international artist invited to Brisbane Street Art Festival in 2017 and has also painted in Bali, Malta, London, Madrid and Senegal, as well as at Menton's Rivièr'Art and Madrid's C.A.L.L.E. festival. His two murals "Ondarea" and "Konpromisoa" in Bayonne date from the 2021 Points de Vue festival.
