Biography

Born in Nice in 1986, Nils Inne grew up skating the streets around the city's modern art museum while watching his father paint. He turned professional in the 2000s and toured internationally before injuries pushed him toward art, and he eventually settled in Biarritz. His self-taught, heavily coloured work relies on bold black outlines, flat colour fields and naive, skateable architectures, often drawn with Posca markers and inspired by Mark Gonzales, Keith Haring and Basquiat. His designs have appeared on Cliché skateboards and Bensimon products. For the first Points de Vue festival in Bayonne (2017) he painted the mural "Skate en Pays Basque", and he has since taken on mural commissions for hotels and Paris buildings.
