Marcos Navarro

Born in Barcelona in 1986, illustrator and painter Marcos Navarro now splits his time between Catalonia and the Basque Country. He drew with crayons and markers as a child and found graffiti as a teenager, when the scene was taking off in Barcelona. He then spent years working in fashion and textiles, and today he paints for galleries, textile brands and walls. Wildlife and plants are at the centre of his work, with animals, landscapes and human figures used to explore how people relate to the natural world. His commercial clients include Adobe, Universal Music, SEAT, Volcom and Random House. In 2017 he painted a mural on allée du Grand Paradis in Bayonne for the first Points de Vue festival.
