Fermin Moreno

Born in Bilbao in 1970, Fermín Moreno Martín is a painter who took both his degree and his doctorate at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). Alongside canvas and walls he works with installation, graphic design, video, street art and computer-generated imagery, and much of his painting borrows from architecture and graphic design. His murals are abstract and geometric, with bright colours and a strong sense of movement. With José Ramón Bañales and Jorge Rubio he was part of the DK Muralismo collective, and he has painted walls in Bilbao. In October 2018, at the second Points de Vue festival, he covered the Habas La Plaine housing block at 13 avenue Pinatel in Bayonne with an abstract mural.
