Biography

Born in Sicily in 1980, Fragola de la Vega moved to France at 14, studied applied arts in Nice and then settled in Paris, where she worked as an art director at a communications agency. She held her first exhibition in Paris in 2016. Her black-and-white world, punctuated by bright red circles, is filled with flying fish, robots, cats and female figures, and moves between melancholy and a love of life. She paints murals outdoors and indoors, including one completed in 2023 in the basement corridors of Necker children's hospital in Paris. In 2026 she took part in Plein Champ, the urban art festival in Le Mans's Parc du Gué-de-Maulny.
