Biography
Christine Sejean is a French-Lebanese graphic designer, sign painter and muralist, born in 1984 in Reims, where she is based. She studied at the ESAD art school in Reims and worked as a designer, first in an agency and then freelance, before taking up sign painting in 2018 after a workshop with the American sign painter Mike Meyer. Her colourful dimensional lettering, often crossed by a single word in fine script, appears on walls and shopfronts for Champagne houses, hotels, bookshops, businesses and public bodies. For the reopening of Reims' Museum of the Surrender, the city commissioned her to paint the word "PAIX" (peace) surrounded by other words chosen by local residents. In July 2026 she painted live at Plein Champ, the urban art festival in Le Mans' Parc du Gué-de-Maulny.
