Biography
Anaïs Rallo is a graphic designer, illustrator and artist who has been based in Rennes since 2018. After a postgraduate degree in graphic design (DSAA) in 2016, she started out in music, making festival posters and album covers, before branching into the visual arts. Her round, restless drawing style mixes natural elements, cartoon characters, objects come to life and botanical hybrids, and owes a lot to Japanese woodblock prints and 1970s psychedelia. She has painted murals since 2022, including the façade of the Grosset building in Bécherel, done during a 2023 residency at the town's Maison du livre. In July 2026 she was one of the artists at Plein Champ, the urban art festival in Le Mans' Parc du Gué-de-Maulny.
