Adventis

Adventis is the working name of Eva Husson, born in 2000 in Savoie, France. A florist by trade and a self-taught painter, she took her name from adventitious plants, the wildflowers that come up on their own wherever they please. Her realistic portraits are built around the sitter's gaze, using a hybrid method: the face is first assembled as a collage of fabric scraps, then pulled together with acrylic paint. Her murals include a woman's portrait on an old farmhouse at El Torcal, near Antequera in Spain, and a wall in Port-de-Bouc. In July 2026 she painted live at Plein Champ, the urban art festival held in Le Mans' Parc du Gué-de-Maulny.
