Biography
Víctor Romero Toscano, born in Huelva in 1989, paints under the name Konestilo, a contraction of con estilo, with style. He came to graffiti in 2007 after an art baccalaureate and studies in graphic design and interior decoration, and has made the spray can his main tool and realism his ground, which he describes as realismo impresionista.
His walls are almost always isolated figures on a pale background: animals staring straight out, portraits of children, roses under glass, handled in broad contrasting strokes that keep the trace of the gesture. His motto, cuando el mundo calla, el arte grita, goes with often socially driven commissions, among them several murals given to the Autismo Huelva Ánsares association and a tribute to the painter Daniel Vázquez Díaz in Nerva.
The artist has taken part in every edition of the Liga Nacional de Graffiti since 2020 and has painted in Italy, France, the United Kingdom, Portugal and Greece. His work has also been shown at the Museo Provincial de Huelva and the Casa Colón.
