Biography
Born in 1977 in Montpellier, France, Koralie (Koralie Carmen Flores), an architect by training, very quickly pursued an artistic path after discovering graffiti—“a revelation.” She began painting in the streets as early as 1999.
Since then, she has developed a multidisciplinary practice. Her techniques, media, materials, and tools vary according to each project: paintings on canvas or murals, sculptures, installations, prints, textiles, and more.
Her work is resolutely aesthetic, centered on symmetry and the repetition of geometric motifs inspired by nature.
Commissioned by institutions and private collectors to create site-specific works, she exhibits in international art galleries and museums across Europe and the United States. In 2019, she was commissioned by the Manufacture des Gobelins in Paris to create Palmeraie, a tapestry.
She currently lives and works on the Basque coast of France.
