Lunar

Lunar, born Slaven Kosanović in Zagreb in 1975, is one of the founders of Croatia's graffiti scene. He picked up his first spray can in 1989 after a family trip to Berlin, co-founded the country's first crew, YCP (Yo Clan Posse), with Krešimir Buden in 1992, and painted his first solo piece in 1993. His wide-eyed cats, often hanging from balloons or drifting through celestial scenes, have become his trademark and can be found in Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris, New York, Tokyo and Sydney. A graphic designer, radio host and DJ as well as a painter, he has worked across six continents and still lives in Zagreb. His book "From Zagreb with Love", published in 2019, documents thirty years of practice.
