Taki Myk

Wojciech Wiśniewski, born in Warsaw in 1981 and a graduate in architecture from the city's University of Technology, paints under the name Taki Myk. He came to graffiti in 1995 through writing and street logos, and now works mainly in multi-layer stencil, screen printing and freehand spray. His repertoire is animal: wolves, tigers, kingfishers, dragonflies, often grafted with mechanical parts to speak of the human grip on the living world. He founded and runs Szablon Dżem, a Polish festival devoted to stencil work, and teaches street art and screen printing workshops. In 2024 he painted the Mermaid in a passageway on Strzelecka Street, in Praga, using smog-absorbing paint.
