Meisal

Sławomir Krysiak, known as Meisal, has been painting in Łódź since the mid-1990s. In 1998 he founded the Design Futura group, which in 2001 painted the giant mural on Piotrkowska Street, for years the largest wall painting in the world. His work belongs to turn-of-the-millennium graffiti: saturated colours, hard edges, lettering and faces with sharpened features. He now works under the name Kytod and has carried his taste for surfaces over into tattooing.
