Wojciech Brewka

Born in 1980 in Kalisz, Poland, Wojciech Brewka left a law career in 2013 to paint full time. A self-taught colourist, he moves between acrylic, oil and spray paint, from canvases to monumental murals. His series "Portrety Zwierząt", "#zabawNIE" and "Be Happy" set animal figures against high-contrast backgrounds, often with a social or ironic edge. He co-runs the officyna art & design gallery, co-founded the Propaganda Sztuki association and produces the Przenikanie festival. His walls back causes: the tenth anniversary of the Twarze Depresji foundation in Warsaw in 2024, the thirty-fifth of the Synapsis foundation.
