Yuri HOPN

Yuri Romagnoli, who signs his first name in Cyrillic as юрий, works with a palette pared down to red, white and black, drawn from last century's propaganda posters. His painting aims at instant recognition: red and white, and the recurring motif of the bicycle, run through his entire body of work.
