Dem 666

Marco Barbieri, alias Dem, was born in Codogno in 1978 and graduated in computer graphics from the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan in 2002. He has painted walls since 1990 and, from 2001, began transposing onto abandoned places and farm facades the beings he had been drawing on paper. His figures, five metres tall or more, blend humans, animals, mythological creatures and plants.
