Biography
Born in Macerata in 1977 and a graduate of the city's Academy of Fine Arts, where he now teaches, Nicola Alessandrini builds a restless cosmology poised between sleep and waking. Animals are ever present and hybridise with the human body, in a blunt visual alphabet that probes the darker side of human nature.
