Biography
Alleg, from Tagliacozzo in Abruzzo, has been painting on walls since 1995, with or without permission. He treats the wall as a support for circulating and debating themes rooted in the very place the work appears. He is behind the full transcription of Ignazio Silone's novel Fontamara onto a wall in Aielli, and painted the village's first mural in 2016.
