pencil.enia

pencil.enia comes from Italy and pastes messages onto the street, in Valencia as much as in Naples. The work comes down to a single handwritten sentence on a cut-out shape, stickers and paste-ups placed at eye level: "Vivimos para unir" on a jigsaw at carrer de Palma in Valencia. The practice sums itself up as a question, "mensajes urbanos: encontraste uno?", which turns the passer-by into the addressee. The name also circulates through the sticker exchange scene, notably at Stickit Fest.
