kthxbye

kthxbye is a street artist active in Spain and Germany whose pieces turn up around the old town of Valencia. The work is black and white and built like a woodcut: tight hatching, hard blacks, a drawn frame around the image and a lettered title along the bottom, a print blown up to the scale of a wall. Crowned figures, skulls and fantastical mounts recur, as in Una Reina Esperada on carrer de l'Arabista Ribera. Most of the pieces catalogued under his name in Valencia have already gone.
