JuMu

JuMu grew up in Hanover with Peruvian and Chilean roots and now works as a freelance artist in Berlin. Shamanism and the connection between people, the spirit world and nature run through everything she makes: ceremonial masks, canvases and murals in which faces break down into angular facets of flat, saturated colour. With Krashkid and Alexander Isakov she forms the collective Guapo Sapo, behind the Heliosstraße triptych in Cologne. Her solo walls run from Cologne to the Lodhi Art Festival in Delhi.
