Bonar

Bonar is a calligrapher and tattoo artist from Marseille, affiliated with the 132 crew. He works blackletter and brush calligraphy on walls as much as on skin, and tattoos under the name Blue Script Tattoo at the Back Jump Tattoo Club on boulevard de la Libération in Marseille. His fully lettered backgrounds, packed with text that reads from a distance like a graphic pattern, often serve as the setting for other writers' portraits. In December 2023 he painted the "Baddadan" wall at the Dock des Suds with Dire 132, 23 metres of green and yellow calligraphy built around the drum and bass track by British duo Chase and Status.
