Biography
Poasson is the artist name of Loïc Perrel, a visual artist based in the Panier district of Marseille. There he founded La Poassonnerie, at once an urban art gallery, a graffiti and graphic design school, an artist residency and a commissioned mural studio. His spray work combines neighbourhood characters with overflowing plant and animal life, as in Jungle Jam, painted on rue Saint-Antoine in March 2023, where a jungle bursts out of a gramophone discovered by two local girls.
