Biography
Kid Kréol & Boogie is a duo from Réunion Island made up of Jean-Sébastien Clain, born in 1984, and Yannis Nanguet, born in 1983, both graduates of the École supérieure d'art de La Réunion and based in Saint-Denis. Coming out of 1970s and 1980s graffiti, they gradually turned their vocabulary towards the history, landscapes and imaginary worlds of their island. In 2024 they painted a mural at the Friche la Belle de Mai in Marseille as part of the Astèr Atèrla exhibition, which brought together thirty-four artists from Réunion.
