MaJo Brothers

The MaJo Brothers are Marc and Joe Hennig, from Düsseldorf. Their work grows out of a passion for graffiti and takes shape on walls and building facades, but also in graphic design, illustration, animation and wooden objects. Self-taught, shaped by a father who was an artist himself, they began in the 1980s and turned professional in 2005 under the MaJo Brothers name, then co-founded the youth art association Verbunt e.V. in 2010. On the Kiefernstraße they painted the Affenhaus at number 23 (2008), which put their yellow monkey on the city map, and the puzzle house at number 17 (2007) with Ben Mathis.
