Debug Visuals

Debug Visuals is a Cologne duo formed by Sebastian Karbowiak and Pierre Galic. They deliberately occupy the grey area between graphic design, urban art and multimedia installation: their murals are constructions first — volumes in perspective, stacks of coloured blocks, trompe-l'œil devices that extend a building's architecture rather than simply sitting on it. They are found above all in Kwartier Latäng, Cologne's student district, with "Stiefel" painted in 2012 on a bar facade on Zülpicher Straße and "In Love with Tetris", a nod to the video game, as well as "Neighbours" on Roonstraße, where two faces look at each other across a building.
