Xabier Xtrm

Xabier Xtrm, in full Xabier Anunzibai, is a Basque artist. His mural painting plays on saturated colour and simplified animal silhouettes, often carrying a message about the place of the living world in the city. On the Ehrenfeldgürtel in Cologne he painted the mural "Verloren in der Stadt" — "lost in the city" — centred on a dove, beneath the railway embankment that concentrates much of the district's large-scale mural work.
