Biography
Christian Bolte is a German artist, known in Düsseldorf for designing the "Käferhaus" on Kiefernstraße in 2008 together with Till Martin Köster. The two artists covered an entire building facade with oversized grasshoppers, potato beetles, caterpillars and beetles, painted on a marbled grey ground. The result has become one of the most photographed landmarks on this fully painted street of former squats.
