Pax

Pax is a graffiti writer from Finistère, in western Brittany, active since the early 2000s. A member of the SO crew, he is listed among the writers of the Brest graffiti scene that emerged after 2000, alongside Sider, Arnem and Wca2, and his work appears in Westbook (2004), the first book devoted to graffiti in western Brittany. He works mainly on spray-painted characters, built from warm gradients and set against backgrounds of abstract lettering. In January 2004 he painted Visage d'Afrique on the front of the Maison des Jeunes et de la Culture in Morlaix, a monumental face in yellows and ochres over a red ground.
