Biography
La Dactylo, born in 1991, is a French urban poet who works the street with stencils. The daughter of a writer and a journalist, she came to writing through rap and slam at sixteen, then chose the wall over the page: aphorisms, puns and short phrases placed in direct dialogue with the spot that hosts them. Her texts deal with love, death, the passing of time, feminism, climate and social injustice, in a tone that mixes lightness with commitment. She scatters her stencils across Paris and along her "dactylotours" through France and beyond, as far as Brussels.
