Biography
Medianeras is a duo of Argentinian artists, Vanesa Galdeano and Anali Chnaquia, who are married to each other. Their mural work, seen across Latin America and Europe, treats the human figure in flat fields of bright colour and geometric compositions, with a constant discourse on gender, diversity and minority rights. In November 2023 they made Diversity in Brussels, a vast mosaic commissioned by the City for the 20th anniversary of the law opening marriage to same-sex couples in Belgium.
