Biography
Nô is a street artist who spray-paints portraits, signed with a red "Nô" beside the figure. The work pairs a realistic treatment of the face, modelled in tight gradients, with abstract grounds in a halo of bright colour that lift the subject off its support. On a concrete pillar on rue des Renards, in the Marolles district of Brussels, he painted the smiling portrait of a child in a red flowered dress.
