Biography
Elian Chali is an Argentinian artist born in 1988 in Córdoba. He practises an abstract, minimalist form of mural painting made of geometric shapes in flat primary colours, taking the building itself as subject rather than mere support: his compositions pick up, extend or contradict the lines of the architecture that hosts them. He works in public space around the world, pairing his practice with a discourse on the city and on the room it leaves for bodies.
