Biography
Jean-Marc Collier (Brussels, 1954) is a Belgian mural painter. Trained as a civil engineer and architect at UCL, where he later worked as a researcher and teaching assistant in urban planning, he approaches mural painting as an architect: his first concern is the right integration of the work into its site, and he sees trompe-l'oeil as the privileged tool for that integration. He has painted several monumental murals in Brussels, including a commission from the municipality of Anderlecht of more than a thousand square metres.
