Créons

Créons is a Brussels art collective that cultivates anonymity. Its emblematic character is the Crayon, a pencil that has appeared on the city's walls in waves since late summer 2010 and has been counted in more than four hundred instances. Simple and rigid at first, the pencil gradually bent around building corners, grew legs, then turned into a ladybird, an Indiana Jones and countless other variations. The collective also works at large scale, as on Place de la Monnaie, and has shown its work in an exhibition in Ixelles.
