Alba Fabre Sacristán

Alba Fabre Sacristán, sometimes credited as Alba Fabre, is a Spanish muralist who graduated from the Barcelona Academy of Fine Arts, where she now teaches. Her mural painting is firmly realist: she works light and matter in broad, almost abstract strokes up close, which resolve at a distance into silent interior scenes. In September 2023 she painted a Brussels tribute to the filmmaker Chantal Akerman for the Street Art Trail, taken from her film Jeanne Dielman, 23 quai du Commerce, 1080 Bruxelles.
