Biography
Anthea Missy is a French artist based in Brussels who paints murals around the world. Her graphic, almost psychedelic style breaks faces down into ribbons and flat fields of bright colour, often in the service of social causes and minority rights. In May 2018, working with the Rainbow House in Brussels, she painted an 80 m² mural on rue Saint-Christophe in tribute to Ihsane Jarfi, a young man murdered in Liège in 2012 in a homophobic crime.
