Yannick Jacquet

Yannick Jacquet (Geneva, 1980) is an artist trained as a graphic designer, now working with moving image, light and video mapping. A co-founder of the AntiVJ collective, he treats architecture as a projection surface and geometry as material. From 2011 to the late 2010s he worked with the engraver Fred Penelle on Mécaniques Discursives, a series of installations in which woodcuts come alive through projection following a chain-reaction principle, like an exquisite corpse unfolding across the wall.
