Biography
Shiyvart is an artist who spray-paints portraits in public space, signed with the handle @shiyvart. Her treatment of the face relies on non-naturalistic colour applied in bold strokes, yellows, pinks, mauves and blues, left visible as brushwork and assembled into modelling, against monochrome circular grounds that lift the figure off the wall. She painted one of the portraits on the collective wall of rue des Riches Claires in Brussels.
