Biography
Ledia Kostandini is an Albanian illustrator and editorial cartoonist, known for her news drawings and children's illustrations, repeatedly awarded in international cartoon competitions. Her work relies on the simple image and the immediately legible symbol. In 2022 she painted the mural Wink in Brussels for the Balkan Trafik festival: a cloudless sky filled with floating eyes, a direct tribute to René Magritte, where each eye stands for a different European culture.
