Biography
ojoMAGico is the artist name of Jadranka Lacković, a Croatian painter and illustrator who graduated from the Academy of Applied Arts in Rijeka. Co-founder of the ArtMašina studio, devoted to informal learning of art techniques, she works in applied painting, murals and illustration. In 2021 she painted a Brussels gable for the Balkan Trafik festival, filling it with herring swimming through the sky: a blue fish Croatians call the queen of the Adriatic, chosen as a symbol of freedom and maritime heritage.
