Biography
Yann, real name Yann Le Pennetier (Marseille, France, 1954), is a French comics writer with a vast and often provocative body of work. He wrote Les Innommables and Odilon Verjus with Laurent Verron, Sambre with Yslaire, Pin-Up with Berthet, and several Spirou et Fantasio albums. A taste for historical satire and irony runs through all of it. The Odilon Verjus mural on rue des Capucins in Brussels dates from 2004.
